Board Development Programs

The first cohort of the Getting Board Ready (GBR) program in Toronto is now available! 

In collaboration with LHH Knightsbridge, we are co-creating and co-delivering two innovative and timely board development programs, Getting Board Ready (GBR) and Elevating Board Effectiveness (EBE). These unique board development programs offer practical insights that move beyond education to accelerate the inclusion and effectiveness of female talent on Boards across Canada.

Getting Board Ready Program

Description:

Five (5) modules delivered through peer coaching and working sessions facilitated by Tracy Cocivera, Senior Vice President, National Coaching Practice & Master Coach at LHH Knightsbridge, Andrea Plotnick, Senior Vice President Board and Executive Solutions at LHH Knightsbridge and Deborah Rosati, Founder & CEO, Women Get On Board along with featured guests and Corporate Directors in Residence.

Module Topics and Dates: 

  1. Finding your Focus/Personal Insight – May 7, 2020 3pm-6pm
  2. Your Board Impact – June 10, 2020 3pm-5pm
  3. How to get your Next Board role – Sept 17, 2020 3pm-5pm
  4. Board-Ready Basics – Nov 5, 2020 3pm-5pm
  5. Action Planning – Dec 3, 2020 3pm-6pm*

Downtown Toronto
All modules will be delivered in Downtown Toronto at the LHH Knightsbridge office -250 Yonge Street, Suite 2800

Fee: $6000 + HST

This registration fee includes registration for all five GBR modules.

  • Additional assessment & feedback; eg. behavioural interview to assess Board competencies
  • One-on-one coaching

Workshops

The goal of Women Get On Board half (1/2) day workshops is to empower women to become more confident to lead and serve on boards. These workshops are interactive, in a small group setting with other like-minded women, and fosters the opportunity to network and learn from each other.
