What does it take to build a meaningful board career? According to Norma Beauchamp, it starts with understanding who you are, what you care about, and the value you uniquely bring to the boardroom.
An accomplished executive and corporate director, Norma has spent more than 30 years leading across the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and non-profit sectors in Canada and internationally. In our latest WGOB: In Conversation interview, she shared thoughtful advice for women navigating their board journeys – from defining your board value proposition and pursuing opportunities aligned with your passions, to owning your power and building authentic connections along the way.
Norma also spoke about the importance of supporting one another as women leaders and creating pathways for more diverse voices in governance.
We interviewed Norma as part of our ongoing WGOB: In Conversation series, which offers women business leaders advice for their board journeys through thought-provoking conversations with experts. Norma is a valued member of our WGOB community, serving as a Corporate Director In Residence for our WGOB Mentorship Program, Mentor Alumni and Regional Ambassador Council member, while continuing to champion women in governance and leadership
